Snickerdoodles

This is a recipe from one of my mother's colleagues at the American School. Cookies in cinnamon-sugar.




Ingredients:
  • Butter - 1 c
  • Sugar - 1 1/2 c
  • Eggs - 2
  • Flour - 2 3/4 c
  • Cream of Tartar - 2 tsp
  • Baking Soda - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon - 2 tsp
1. Heat oven to 205 degree C (400 degree F)
2. Mix butter and eggs thoroughly. Blend in flour, tartar,soda and salt. Stir
3. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon
4. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Should be light in color - don't over bake!
